Attended meeting including RNC Chairman Michael Steele

On May 14, 2009, I attended a meeting, sponsored by The Lincoln Club of Northern California, featuring Michael Steele, Chairman of the Republican National Committee.

I provided Mr. Steele with recommendations for the RNC.

One recommendation recalled my having, as an RNC consultant during the year 2000, proposed a ‘new line of business’ – winning hearts, minds, and participation of Americans – that led to the RNC’s forming, early in 2001, its Team Leader program and Grassroots Division.  (It is possible that Republican candidacies in 2002 and 2004 gained much from such endeavors.  It is possible that in 2008 Democrat candidacies – including that of Barack Obama – gained from observations made regarding and techniques extended from such Republican endeavors.)  The new recommendation featured extending the RNC’s implementation to a more robust grassroots endeavor.

Other recommendations involved other matters.

Also, I invited Gloria Guenther to the meeting.
